Description
This is a mid-20th century circular pillar box made of cast iron, standing approximately 1.5 meters high. It features a black painted base marked 'Carron Company Stirlingshire'. The main body of the pillar box is painted red and includes a cap on top. The shaft displays the initials 'GR', a royal crown, and the words 'Post Office' above and below the letter opening.
