Description
A former school dating from 1867, now used as a Women’s Institute Hall. This is a small, single-story building with a double-fronted design. The exterior walls are roughcast and the roof is slate-covered. The front façade features a central doorway and a small, multi-paned window on each side, both with elliptical arched tops. These windows have Y-tracery bars to the upper sash and a fanlight above the door. The entrance is accessed via double-panelled doors. A plaque above the door reads 'Emlyn Grammar School 1867'. The roof ridge has corrugated iron cladding, which replaced a former ventilator.
