Description

The former school, now a village hall, dates from 1846. It is constructed of brick and features a Welsh slate roof. The building is single storey and consists of six bays, with a central pair of bays set beneath a coped gable that is topped by a small stone bellcote. The central windows are designed as two-lights with transoms, while the windows in the outer bays are simply mullioned. All windows have drop ended hoodmoulds and heavy diamond latticed panes. There is a coped gable to the left, and the stone in the gable is inscribed with "School. 1846".
