Description

The summer house or gazebo at Manor Farm dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a Swithland slate roof. This small square structure has a moulded eaves cornice and a pyramidal roof topped with a finial. The doorway is adorned with a flamboyant architrave that includes a pediment and a radial fanlight, which appears to be added to an earlier opening that has a splayed gauged brick head. Additionally, there is a small chimney located against the rear wall.
