Description

Yew Tree Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, faced in brick on a granite plinth, with a timber-framed core likely dating back to the early 17th century. It features a Swithland slate roof and is two storeys high. The main range consists of four bays, with the left-hand bay being a later addition. The central doorway of the older section has a six-panelled door and is flanked by three-light casement windows with cambered brick heads. At the rear, the wallplate and angle post of the wing are the only visible signs of the timber frame, while the brickwork is a single brick skin.
