Description

Rose Cottage is a two-storey building with local rubblestone walls, which previously had rendered cladding that has now been removed. It features a slate gable roof with a brick stack at each end. The front elevation has three bays, with three small flat-arched 2-light casements on the first floor. On the ground floor, there are two larger 2-light casements with 6 + 6 small panes, positioned one on each side of a central doorway. The doorway has a ledged door and a wooden frame, topped by a slate gabled canopy with scalloped bargeboards. The rear elevation was not visible during the inspection. At the time of the last survey, the building was undergoing restoration, and the interior had been stripped out.
