Description
No. 3 Quarry Cottages is part of a row of four estate cottages built from random rubble limestone, featuring 'vertical crazy paving' on the main elevation, dressed long-and-short quoins, and rusticated window surrounds. The cottages have a Welsh slate roof and are two storeys high. Each cottage is single depth with a small rear wing. The row has eight windows in total, with each house having two windows above a window and a door. The left-hand cottages have their doors on the left side, while the right-hand ones have theirs on the right. The two middle cottages have gabled roofs. The doors are made of planks, and the windows are iron diamond lattice, with three lights below and two lights above; each window now has one single pane in the opening part. There are three stone ridge stacks positioned between the houses, and the rear elevation has been partly altered. The interior has not been inspected.
