Description
No. 2 Quarry Cottages is part of a row of four estate cottages built from random rubble limestone, featuring a 'vertical crazy paving' style on the main elevation. The cottages have dressed long-and-short quoins and rusticated window surrounds, topped with a Welsh slate roof. Each cottage is two storeys high and single depth, with a small rear wing. There are eight windows across the row, with each cottage having two windows above a window and a door. The cottages on the left have their doors on the left side, while those on the right have theirs on the right. The two middle cottages have gabled roofs. The doors are made of planks, and the windows are iron diamond lattice, with three lights below and two lights above, each now featuring one single pane in the opening part. There are three stone ridge stacks located between the houses. The rear elevation has been partly altered. The interior has not been inspected.
