Description

Nos. 15 and 16 Y Groes are a pair of long semi-detached houses built with roughcast render and topped with a roof of small slates. The houses feature slightly swept eaves, a central ridge, and tall lateral stacks. They have a symmetrical layout with a recessed central two-bay section, flanked by narrow gabled wings that step forward and include entrances. At each end, there are wider gabled wings with kneeelers. The windows consist of small-pane casements, with a single window range in each cross-bay and cross-framed windows on the ground floor. The doors are boarded and part-glazed, set back within porches made of unrendered coursed rock-faced stone and ashlar. No. 16 has a stepped back lean-to.
