Description

Nos. 17 and 18 Y Groes are a pair of semi-detached houses. The upper storey is roughcast rendered, while the ground floor features snecked rockfaced stone with ashlar quoins. The roof is part-hipped, covered with small slates, and has slightly swept eaves with kneelers. There are end and centre ridge stacks. The front has a plan with twin hipped gables and a cross wing at the rear. The windows are small-pane casements, with 2-light windows on the first floor, which has a 4-window range, and 3-light windows on the ground floor. There are narrow doorways at both ends and main side doorways that have hoods. No. 17 includes a lean-to at the side.
