Description
Nos. 9 and 10 Y Groes are a long pair of semi-detached houses built with roughcast rendering and topped with a roof of small slates. The houses feature slightly swept eaves, a central ridge, and tall lateral stacks. The design has a symmetrical layout with a recessed central two-bay section, flanked by narrow gabled wings that step forward and include entrances. At each end, there are wider gabled wings with kneeelers. The windows are small-pane casements, with a single window range in each cross-bay and cross-framed windows on the ground floor. The entrances are accessed through boarded part-glazed doors, which are well set back inside porches made of unrendered coursed rock-faced stone and ashlar.
