Description
Nos. 24 and 26 Lon-y-dail are a pair of semi-detached houses built with roughcast render and topped with a roof of small slates, featuring swept eaves and tall lateral and rear stacks. The houses have a symmetrical frontage with wide gabled bays that have kneelers at each end and a recessed central section. Originally, the windows were small pane casements, with three windows on the first floor of the gabled bays and four-light windows below. The entrances have boarded half-glazed doors with bracketed hoods on the sides. The roof slopes down low over the recessed central bay, incorporating small paired three-light dormers with sloping roofs. The ground floor features larger three-light windows that are asymmetrically placed. The corners of the houses have stepped recessed moulding that resembles alternating quoins.
No. 24 has an additional ground floor light and replaced windows, while No. 26 has a replaced door.
