Description
Nos. 21 and 23 Lon-y-dail are a pair of semi-detached houses built with roughcast render and topped with a roof of small slates. The houses feature swept eaves and tall lateral and rear stacks. Their symmetrical front has wide gabled bays with kneelers at each end, flanking a recessed central section. The original windows were small pane casements, with three windows on the first floor of the gabled bays and four-light windows below. Each house has entrances with boarded half-glazed doors that have bracketed hoods on the returns. The roof slopes down low over the recessed central bay, incorporating small paired three-light dormers with sloping roofs. The larger three-light ground floor windows are asymmetrically placed. The corners have stepped recessed moulding that resembles alternating quoins. It is noted that No. 23 has a replaced door.
