Description

Amongst the widest of the pairs of semi-detached houses in the Garden Village development. Roughcast rendered with roofs of small slates, swept eaves and tall rear and lateral stacks. Symmetrical plan of central recessed section, stepped forward middle gabled wing to each dwelling incorporating doorway with hood and boarded part-glazed door in return, together with a further stepped forward outer gabled wing to each side. Gables have kneelers and the outer ones are slate hung. Original windows are small pane casements with narrow sills; cross-framed to ground floor.

No. 20 has replaced windows and door. Shed (possibly contemporary with construction of house) to right survives, weather boarded and slate roof. No. 22 has porch wing to side.
