Description
Long terrace of 4 houses. Roughcast rendered with roof of small slates and wide stacks set just forward of the ridge. Symmetrical plan comprising twin projecting cross gables to each pair of houses, which are separated by a central round arched gated passage with stone voussoirs. Original windows are small-pane casements with shallow sills, 3-light to first floor of the gabled wings and canted bays to ground floor. Roof sweeps down low with overhanging slightly swept eaves to the central and side sections with smaller first floor windows to centre close under eaves and the entrance doorways in the angles with the gabled wings. Nos.1 and 4 have small porches, hoods to nos. 2 and 3 and boarded part-glazed doors. Side elevations have slate-hung gables and a 2-window range.
