Description
Nos. 2-8 Pen-y-dre is a terrace of four houses, consisting of two pairs separated by a round-arched passage. The houses are roughcast rendered and feature a roof made of small slates, with end and ridge stacks. Each pair has a symmetrical plan with twin gabled bays, and there are recessed bays on the sides and in the center. The windows are small-pane casements, with three-light windows on the first floor of the gabled bays, and a four-light window in the center that rises slightly above the eaves. The ground floor windows are four-light in the gabled bays and two-light on the sides. The end houses have entrance doorways under simple hoods on the sides, with a two-window range above. The middle houses have similar entrances located at the angle between the recessed center bay and the projecting gabled bay, featuring boarded part-glazed doors.
No. 4 has a replaced door, No. 6 has a replaced door, and No. 8 has replaced windows.
