Description
Nos. 7-13 Pen-y-dre is a terrace of four houses built in the 19th century. The houses are roughcast rendered with roofs made of small slates, and they feature stacks set lengthwise along the ridge. The design is symmetrical, with a central gable that has kneelers above a passage. The windows are small-paned casements with narrow sills, while the doors are boarded and include small triangular lights and simple bracketed hoods. Each house is two storeys high.
The left end unit, No. 7, has a double window on the first floor under the eaves, a central gabled porch, a living room window to the left, and a hall window to the right. The centre left unit, No. 9, features a four-light window under the eaves, a doorway to the centre left with a hall window to the left, and a canted bay to the right. At the centre, the gable above the round-headed archway has a long three-light window. The centre right unit, No. 11, and the right end unit, No. 13, are nearly mirror images of Nos. 7 and 9.
It is noted that Nos. 7, 11, and 13 have replacement windows.
