Description
Nos. 15-19 Pen-y-dre is a terrace of three houses built in the 19th century. The houses are roughcast rendered and feature roofs made of small slates, with chimney stacks positioned lengthwise along the ridge and one lateral stack. The gables have kneelers. The windows are small-pane casements with narrow sills, while the doors are boarded and include small triangular lights and simple bracketed hoods. The terrace is two storeys high with an asymmetrical frontage.
The end unit on the left, No. 15, has a four-light window located close under the eaves on the first floor. The centre unit, No. 17, features a similar first-floor eaves window and a larger sloping roofed half dormer. It has a central doorway with a small hall window to the left and a living room window to the right. There is an archway to the rear between Nos. 17 and 19. The end unit on the right, No. 19, has a projecting cross gable with two larger two-light windows on the first floor; the door is to the left and the living room window is to the right.
Both No. 15 and No. 19 have replaced windows.
