Description

Nos. 37 and 39 Pen-y-dre are a pair of semi-detached houses built in the Rhiwbina Type 12 style. They are two storeys tall and constructed from brown brick, featuring contrasting arches above the ground floor windows. The houses have hipped slate roofs and a central brick chimney. The central bay is advanced and has a hipped roof, with two 16-pane sash windows on each floor. In the outer bays, there is a small square window located at the eaves, and the doorway is situated under a flat hood, with a later porch added to No. 37. The side elevations also include a small square window at the eaves and a round-arched porch.
