Pair of semi-detached houses (Rhiwbina Type 12). Two storeys. Roughcast render (replaced), painted. Hipped slate roofs, central brick chimney. Advanced 2-window central bay with hipped roof; original 16-pane sash windows. In outer bays, small square window at eaves; doorway under flat hood (original door at No. 53, later door to No. 55).
