Description

This is a circular iron pillar box from the early 20th century, located at the corner with the road to St Nicholas' Church. It features a fluted rim on a shallow domed cap that supports a curved bracket with an oval Post Office direction sign. The frieze has "Post Office" lettering and includes a letter opening, along with a moulded base. The curved door has a collection plate above it, which is topped with the crowned monogram "GR" for King George V.
