Description
This is a cylindrical cast iron pillar box located outside 81 Ninian Road. It is painted red, with the base concealed. The hinged door features the embossed royal cipher 'VR'. Above the door is a horizontal posting aperture, which is flanked by the words 'Post Office' in relief. The box is topped with a projecting shallow domed cap that has a fluted cornice.
