Description

This is a single-span bridge located over Roath Brook in Roath Park Recreation Ground. It features brick abutments and a flat concrete deck that is supported by concrete spine and cross beams. The parapet consists of a cast iron balustrade, which includes intermediate fluted posts and nailhead ornamentation on the caps. The parapets end in concrete piers topped with pyramidal caps, and the approaches to the bridge are fitted with simple iron railings. The deck surface is laid with tarmac.
