Description

This is a broad reinforced concrete footbridge built over the Roath Brook near the Lake Dam. It features an almost flat deck supported by a single cambered arch. The footbridge has a moulded string course along the concrete balustrades, which are adorned with bulbous balusters and blind panelled piers at both ends and in the centre. Although the lamp standards have been removed, the balustrading extends beyond the abutments on either side, continuing with additional end piers.
