Description
This is a cylindrical cast-iron pillar box painted red, standing on a black base that features the founder's name in raised letters. The hinged door displays the royal cipher of Edward VII and includes a horizontal posting aperture. The box is topped with a shallow domed cap that has a fluted cornice.
