Description
The Bridge over Ynysmaerdy Incline is a single-span bridge constructed from snecked rock-faced stone. It features a wide segmental arch designed to span a double broad-gauge track. The high parapet projects slightly and is topped with rock-faced copings. The abutments are slightly splayed and have a raking top, also with rock-faced copings. The flat deck consists of a wide single track that is covered with soil. Approaches on both sides are slightly ramped and come from the east.
