Description
23 Eden Avenue is a Grade II listed building featuring a pebbledashed exterior and a red-tiled roof, complemented by some half-timbering and red brick chimneys. The front of the building has a large gabled wing with half-timbering at the apex. On the first floor, there is a three-light window, and below it, a ground floor splayed bay window sits under a steeply-pitched tiled roof. The entrance doorway is located to the right and is set under an interior porch with a stone arch.
On the right roofslope, facing north, there is a hipped dormer. The rear of the building includes a block with a hipped and mansard roof. The north elevation, which faces the park, has two storeys plus an attic and a basement, featuring a half-hipped roof for the attic with half-timbering, a three-light window, and a two-storey splayed bay window, with a rounded window on the ground floor to the left of the bay. Additionally, the rear has an open porch supported by square wooden posts.
