Description
This is a long single-storey farm building with a loft, which includes a barn, cart-shed, cow-house, and stable. It is built of rubble stone and has a slate roof. The barn is located on the left and features a segmental-arched opening with a keystone engraved '1838 / GW', along with double planked doors below. There is a ventilation strip to the left and a corrugated iron lean-to on the right that partially obscures a small loft hatch. To the right, there is an opening for a cart with a loft hatch above it. Further to the right is the cow-house, which has three planked doors separated by ventilation strips and a large loft hatch above. At the right end is the stable, which consists of a planked door next to a window. There is also a later red brick range to the left.
The barn has a four-bay structure with a light collar truss roof. The rear doorway has been blocked, and a small window has been inserted. There is a ventilation strip to the right of the rear door and in the gable end. Wooden steps lead up to the loft between the barn and cart-shed. The cow-house is now open and occupied by chickens, with a stone dividing wall on the west side containing a small opening in the gable. There are also other small openings in the rear wall.
