Description
Pitt Farm Buildings is a group of roadside farm structures. It includes a long cowshed to the south and a two-bay cartshed to the north, both positioned against the road, connected by a stone wall and gate. There is also a storage building with a loft that stands at right angles to the west. The buildings are constructed from axe-dressed local limestone masonry and feature slate roofs without gutters. The cowshed is whitewashed, and the front has segmental brick arches over the openings, along with a lintel above a large opening in the north gable. The cartshed has brick quoins and brick dressings around all its openings, with deep segmental arches for the two cartsheds. There is a loft door in the south gable, accessible via a stone outside staircase, and two ventilator openings with louvres located above the cart doors.
