Description

The former Canal Weights & Measures Office at the Canal Basin is a two-storey building that resembles a tower. It is constructed of grey rubble and has been limewashed, topped with a pyramidal slate roof and featuring a brick chimney at the northeast corner. The first floor has camber-headed windows with brick arches on each side, positioned at different levels. On the ground floor, there is a doorway on the northwest side. The building has been restored to include small-pane sash windows. Inside, there are remains of a fireplace on the first floor.
