Description
The Clarence Inn, which includes the rear wing to No. 25, is a three-storey building with a three-window stuccoed facade facing The Watton. It has a slate roof with projecting eaves. On the second floor, there is a 12-pane sash window (four panes over eight) on the left, a two-light casement window in the center, and a sash window with six panes on the right. The first floor features three 4-pane sash windows.
On the ground floor, the central bay has a round-headed and pedimented doorcase with pilasters, a semi-circular fanlight with radiating tracery, and a four-panelled door. To the left of the door, there is a panelled door with the top four panels glazed. The left-hand ground floor bay has a sash window with 16 panes. The right-hand part of the ground floor facade includes a transomed window with engraved glass reading "Smoke Room," along with a modern window at the far right end.
