Description
6 Lion Street is a tall three-storey house with three windows, featuring two parallel ranges. The elevation facing Lion Street has three bays and is roughcast with a slate roof. The chimneys are made of rubble and extended in brick, and there is an eaves cornice. The windows are small-pane horned sash windows with marginal glazing bars, while the second floor has square windows. The doorcase includes pilasters and a cornice, and it holds a six-panelled door.
Inside, there is a good late Georgian interior. The entrance hall has panelled doors and doorcases, along with a round-headed arch. There is an early 19th-century stair leading to the rear. To the left of the entrance, there is a room with a recess framed by fluted Ionic columns.
