Description
85 The Watton is part of a row of three houses, numbered 84, 85, and 86. The building features a four-window stucco front, a slate roof, and brick chimney stacks. Each house has one window and a doorway, with blind windows located above the paired doorways of Nos. 85 and 86. The top floor has 9-pane sash windows, the first floor has 12-pane sashes, and the ground floor has 16-pane sashes. The wooden doorcases are adorned with fluted pilasters, plain friezes, and moulded cornices, while the reveals are plain and the fanlights are rectangular and plain. Each house has a six-panelled door. The doorways of Nos. 85 and 86 are paired in the centre, with No. 85 having windows to the right.
