Description
Nos. 84, 85, and 86 The Watton are a row of three houses dating from the 19th century. The front features four windows and is finished in stucco, topped with a slate roof and brick chimney stacks. Each house has one window and a doorway, with Nos. 85 and 86 having blind windows above their paired doorways. The top floor has 9-pane sash windows, the first floor has 12-pane sashes, and the ground floor features 16-pane sashes. The wooden doorcases are adorned with fluted pilasters, plain friezes, and moulded cornices, while the reveals are plain and the fanlights are rectangular and plain. Each house has a six-panelled door. Nos. 85 and 86 have their doorways paired in the center, with No. 86 having windows to the left.
