Description

This is a small former farmhouse with an attached barn range. The farmhouse is built of stone rubble with boulder foundations and has a steeply pitched corrugated roof. A large, ivy-covered chimney is located at one end. The front, facing the lane, features square hood moulds over blocked former openings. The attached barn, which is five bays wide, is set slightly forward along the lane and has a similar roof pitch. The barn is limewashed and has stone lintels above small ventilation slits. Its roof extends to provide a hood over a pair of double doors. The farmyard side of the barn has a raised roof over a loft opening, a doorway with a timber lintel, and a more recent double doorway on the left.

Inside the farmhouse, a fireplace remains, along with curved stone steps leading to the first floor. The interior of the farmhouse lacks original partitions. The barn features pegged collar and tie trusses.
