Description

The war memorial at Lower Cross Oak stands on three concrete steps and has a stone flagged base. It is made of pale stone and is shaped like a Celtic Cross. One side of the tapered shaft features an inscription, while the head of the cross is boldly decorated with interlace designs. The date "1914-1919" is displayed in the center, and there is an additional plaque inscribed for those who fell in World War II.
