Description

The Tremeirchion War Memorial is a sandstone Celtic Cross featuring simple interlace designs on its four arms, a central boss, and a plain shaft. It stands on a large plinth that is inscribed with the names of those who fell in the Great War, with the dates 1914-1918 marked at the foot of the shaft. The memorial is positioned in a gap in the Churchyard wall, raised on a base of three steps. It is surrounded by simple spear-headed railings at the front and taller decorative arrow-headed railings at the rear. Additionally, the names of the fallen from the Second World War have been added on the step.
