Description
The barn range at Cui Parc is a long, 9-bay structure built of rubble with boulder footings and a stone tile roof. It features large double doors on the east side and smaller doors in blocking on the west, both with timber lintels. There are ventilation slits on the sides and a 4-light diamond timber mullioned window located at the apex of the east gable end above the ventilation slits.
On the south side, the stables have a pointed iron window with small pane Gothic tracery, which has been inserted into a former doorway, indicating early 19th-century alterations. Other signs of fabric alteration are present. The west gable end has a louvred opening with a raised sill, and the barn is characterized by large quoins. At the base of the wall, there is a grooved stone channel that discharges water into a trough.
On the north side, facing a grassed yard, there are outside steps leading up to a loft door, with boarded doors and one buttress featuring a stone tiled offset. The barn's interior includes collar and tie beam trusses with three rows of trenched purlins, while the stables do not have collars. The threshing floor is flagged, and there is a blocked opening in the dividing wall.
