Description

The Star Inn is a late Georgian village inn constructed of stone, with the front rendered and painted, while the rear is also rendered. It features a shallow pitch Welsh slate roof and wide and narrow rendered end stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range of 8/8 pane sashes set in deep reveals, which have raised and painted gabled surrounds. The central doorway is topped with a moulded hood supported by large, elaborately carved brackets, and there are raised pilasters at the ends. Additional sash windows are present at the rear. The interior has been refurbished.
