Description

Bell House and the adjoining smithy is a three-storey building with a three-window roughcast front and a plinth. It features a slate roof with raised eaves and a cement render chimney stack that has been heightened in brick. The building has horned sash windows without glazing bars, and there is a splayed bay window on the ground floor to the left. A pitched hood covers a half-glazed door located to the right.

Adjoining to the right is a lower rubble range that was formerly a smithy, which is two storeys high and has two windows. This section has a steep slate roof, a timber lintel over boarded doors, and a rubble chimney stack to the right, which connects to the chapel house. The rear of the smithy has a corrugated roof and boarded openings on the first floor, which may have also been present at the front, as suggested by recesses that are taller than the windows.
