Description

The stable, carthouse, and cowhouse range at Beiliau Farm is a 19th-century structure. The range features a lofted stable carthouse on the left and a higher lofted cowhouse on the right. The carthouse and stable have a rubble front that is whitewashed, topped with a slate roof that has a stone-tiled apron. The cowhouse is constructed of rubble with an asbestos sheeted roof.

The front of the carthouse and stables has three bays, with a central wide opening at ground level and flanking boarded doors, both of which have integral small windows and common timber lintels. The first floor on both the left and right sides includes boarded pitching doors. There are stone steps on the left end leading to a boarded loft door with a timber lintel, along with a small lean-to at the angle of the stair and gable end, and a roofless rear lean-to. The cowhouse consists of three bays, featuring a central boarded door flanked by small shuttered openings on each side, all with timber lintels.
