Description
Bridge 102 over the Brecknock & Abergavenny Canal is constructed of rubble sandstone. It features a semi-elliptical arch made with stone voussoirs and a projecting keystone. The vault of the bridge is supported by four parallel iron strap-rails to prevent collapse. The bridge has a humped parapet that flares out to square piers, topped with slab copings. There is a northeast sloping revetment wall for the footpath, which includes a stone-slab stile towards the end.
