Description

Cae Newydd Railway Bridge is a single-arched bridge made of rubble stone, featuring a broad elliptical arch with cut stone flush voussoirs. The bridge has a rubble stone parapet that includes a broad band stepping out from the string course below. It is topped with cut-stone coping and has raised end piers. On each side of the rail track, there are raking retaining walls.
