Description
The ruined warehouse by Kidwelly Bridge is constructed from grey limestone rubble with red-brick window heads. It is a roughly square, roofless structure that was built against the end gable of an older, now-demolished building. The flat wall-heads indicate that the original roof was hipped towards the front. The south front features three storeys and three windows, although the right windows are obscured by ivy and the ground floor windows are blocked. The red brick flat heads may date to the 18th century, but there is no definitive dating evidence. On the west side, facing the road, there is a central one-window range, with the top window missing its head and the first-floor opening being large and blocked, likely a former loading door. To the left, there is a low door, with a brick northwest angle leading to a short return back to the older gable end.
