Description

Morfa House is a three-storey building featuring pebbledash walls and a slate roof with rendered end stacks. It dates from the later 19th century or early 20th century and has a three-window range that is offset to the left. The building is topped with a painted timber cornice and a low parapet. The upper floor has horned sash windows with four panes, while the first floor features plate-glass windows, all set on stone sills.

The ground floor showcases a fine Victorian painted timber shopfront, complete with pilasters and an overall entablature with a cornice. The fascia lettering is in raised capitals, painted to imitate marble, reading 'Morfa House' on the left and 'Chemist' on the right. To the left, a pilaster frames the house door, which is a four-panel door with an overlight. Three additional pilasters frame the shop door and window. The shop door is deeply recessed, half-glazed, and also has an overlight, aligning with the centre windows above. To the right, there is a four-light shop window with a mid transom and elliptical-arched heads to the lights. Notably, the pilaster between the shop window and shop door is broader than the others, and all pilasters feature plain stucco plinths and moulded caps.

Inside the shop, there are iron columns.
