Description

Pont Pren-dano is a bridge constructed from dressed red and grey sandstone, built on rock outcrops. It features a high horseshoe arch with projecting voussoirs and a tall keystone. The bridge has substantial curving abutments, each forming a quadrant in plan, and a plinth at the base of these abutments. The parapet is made of monolithic stones set on a string course, with iron cramps used between the parapet stones and the plinth. The parapet stones have a pecked surface and margin drafting, and there is some modern pointing throughout the structure.
