Description

The bridge at Abercynafon is a segmental arched river bridge built from snecked dressed stone. It features narrow dressed stone voussoirs and has curved parapets with replaced saddle back coping. In the center, there may be a datestone that is either illegible or was never carved. The bridge also has curved abutments, approaches, and parapets.
