Description

The west portal of the Torpantau tunnel is made of coursed rock-faced stone. The parapet wall ends at an angle of about 45 degrees to fit the slope. It features prominent rock-faced voussoirs with diamond-shaped ends and tooled edges, which are also present on the quoins.
