Description
The octagonal building at Lower Neuadd Reservoir is a reservoir structure made of rock-faced squared stone with a cemented roof. It features a square tower with chamfered corners, a corbelled parapet, and a recessed octagonal roof over the central chimney. The building is constructed from pink stone, with some sandstone ashlar elements, and consists of two storeys.
The front of the building has a large arched doorway that is blocked, featuring pink stone voussoirs. On the first floor, there is a 3-light ashlar mullioned window, and the parapet above has a small raised shouldered pediment positioned over the window. The right side of the building includes a blocked 3-light mullioned window below and a blocked roundel above. The coping of the parapet is stepped up.
The building is not available for inspection.
