Description

The southeast portal of the Conwy Railway Tunnel is constructed from snecked rock-faced stone, featuring lighter grey tooled stone jambs and voussoirs that form a round arch. At the base of the parapet, there is a corbel table, and the parapet itself includes two light-grey freestone bands, although these are mostly hidden by vegetation. The parapet is stepped and topped with saddleback copings.
